5By Ams73Second time reading this one and it’s just as good as the first. Payne is a great character…wish she’d use her and Manny more. They are definitely more accents in later books. Intro of the BoB was great. This book sets up a lot for later ones but doesn’t feel like merely a transition. It’s a fully complete story. Love.Great read! Loved it!

Watching Payne's journey to freedom was a joy. It was very nearly overshadowed by her twin's journey out of his own darkness. But JR Ward found the perfect balance as always. This series is absolutely a MUST READ for any fan of vampire romance.Lover Unleashed

5By jpool7Not my fave, and it took a while for me to really get into it, but once that ball was rollin I couldn't stop. I love the relationship between manny and payne. I was kinda hoping the would go through with the ancestor transgression and then manny would hopefully be turned, but it's ok. Can't wait for the next, I'm gonna have to read it slowly because I'm so anxious for Lover at Last to come out in march 2013!Lover unleashed!!!!

5By BoopBooGirlBefore I bought this book, I read the reviews and some reviewers were a little disappointed and that concerned me. I shouldn't have been concerned. Seriously, if you love this series, this book continues the story and delivers! If you appreciate this author's wit and skill in keeping you interested, thrilled, nervous, hopeful, fearful, hot, delighted and surprised all while making you laugh, or get tearful then you will NOT be disappointed. I like that each of the books includes all of the characters in it. I don't believe it's a bad thing. If you love the Brotherhood you want to read about all of them and continue to know what's doing at that moment.
