Description

After a summer spent trying to prevent a catastrophic war among the Greek gods, Percy Jackson finds his seventh-grade school year unnervingly quiet. But things don't stay quiet for long...

Tyson was adorable I just don’t want to remember that he’s a Cyclopes with one eye in his head. And the end oh my god the punk girl is just crazy!!!

4.0 All while expanding the lore of his modern Greek god world, Rick zeroes in on Percy and Annabeth. By fleshing out their character, he allows them to not only shine but most importantly connect with the reader in unique ways

I just recently became obsessed with these books, and Sea Of Monsters is probably my favorite Percy Jackson book. First off, Tyson! He is my new favorite Percy Jackson character, and he is just so funny. While it is sad that Grover, (my previous favorite character) isn’t really in the book, I still like the little visions (if you’ve read the book you know). Luke is an okay villain, and I would love to see where his character goes. So, overall, incredible book, I will be reading the next one soon!

First of all I just wanna mention, a lot of people here are Kotlc fans. Some people’s usernames are sokeefe forever:) and lord hunkyhair, so shoutout to u 2. It a great series please read it. Where I live most people don’t know it exists, it reaaaaaally underrated. Anyway Percy Jackson: I read the first book and I’m reading sea of monsters right now. It’s a really nice book so far, I learnt a lot about Greek mythology from Percy Jackson, so not only is it great entertainment but teaches you history in a fun way. Also I ship Anna Beth and percy, but I ship the first male and female to show in a book, most the time. Like even though I can’t see their faces and they barely spoke I can just tell. I gave it four stars because I find it annoying that Poseidon and Percy’s names both start with a p. Same with Annabeth and Athena, but not with Clarisse and Ares. Maybe it was a weird coincidence with Percy, but if you’re gonna do it once you gotta commit. Even though I think it cringe that Rick riordan did that in the first place. Yea in general it’s nice. And please don’t put spoilers in your reviews. But if it was a really good book it would hit just as hard anyway. Another thing about kotlc: I’m sorry I used to ship fitzphie and I still think fitz isn’t a bad guy, and that you guys aren’t paying attention to what he actually says, that’s why you think he broke up with Sophie bc of matchmaking, it was bc she was keeping secrets from him. And it’s not his fault he has anger issues, I do too, and the thing about anger issues is you can’t control them. He seems to generally care about Sophie. And I think you guys are just haters. Don’t get me wrong I am team foster keefe all the way, but stop bullying fitz. Hopefully I didn’t spoil too much of the book. I think I talked more about keeper than I did about Percy Jackson, I got carried away😅also someone mentioned wings of fire. I recommend it, but last five books are trash complete new story and characters I just miss Clay Glory Sunny Starflight(pls don’t blame me if that’s not his name I read it long time ago nightwing names are complicated. And.. uhh seawing girl. This was supposed to be a child friendly series but book 11 has lgbtq in it and reading it at nine years old I thought that it was that blue and sister had same dad different moms and didn’t think much of it. So first ten books: nice next five probably shouldn’t read till your older, and by then u wouldn’t want to read it bc it’s for younger kids. But the legends books (dark stalker and dragon slayer) are good. I just wrote three different reviews 😂

I love this book so much. I don’t particularly like Tyson though. He just can be kind of annoying sometimes. I think that AnnaBeth was being a little unfair to Tyson. I was surprised that it was Clarisse who got chosen for the quest. I love Polyphemus though. I just like the myths about him.
