Reviews
- My absolute favorite5By WillowtreephoenixI cannot stress how much I love this entire series- it's given me a true interest in Egyptology! The Kane Chronicles is life changing and spectacular, by far one of Rick Riordan's best.

- Wow5By Doubletap2008I love this book. You might think because it is overshadowed by the Percy Jackson series that it is not as good. NOT the case. Sure, Percy Jackson was really funny, and a good read, but this books is awesome too with a totally different vibe. I personally think Rick Riordan is brilliant for harnessing the fascinating worlds of Greek, Egyptian, Norse, and Roman mythology, and putting them into modern day. I liked how he toggled back and forth in between Sadie and Carter's voices. I liked the whole 'estranged siblings' thing. He did a great job at explaining the confusing parts of Egyptian mythology, like why suddenly Isis is Horus's mother and sister, and Osiris' sister AND husband. He also had a captivating plot and really awesome spells.

- ARE ANY OF RICK RIORDANβS BOOK NOT GOOD?!5By Noelle.acOkay so I finished the Percy Jackson series and Iβm like, βWhat now?β The answer was clear. More Rick Riordan. I saw The Red Pyramid at my schoolβs library and at first I doubted I would like it. I had tried reading it in 4th grade, then stopped after the fifth page. Probably cause of something stupid like the lack of color on the cover. Now Iβm glad I read it. Iβm not gonna lie, it wasnβt as good as Percy Jackson, but The Red pyramid had a bit of Percy Jackson charm to it, also with exciting characters and humor. I like how it switches from Sadie to Carter back and forth. I kind of hate Sadie though (SHE ACTS JUST LIKE MEπ) but sheβs also kind of hilarious. Canβt wait to read the second book!
- Exciting to the end5By Disney did it againMy daughter and I read this together and I highly recommended book.
- Boring.2By Xtreme B-boyThis story was boring! They used portals to extend the plot and the ending was stupid. Don't read the Kane chronicles. Read the lunar chronicles.
- Amazing5By Winx fan #1I love this book! The Percy Jackson books got on my nerves after But this book never will. I really recommend it! πβ€οΈππππ u have the funniness of Sadie and Carter and the plot twist and the amazing fight scenes

- Pretty good book!4By Luna1236This book was really good, truthfully the love I have for the Percy Jackson books can't be compared to anything but this is a close second, also now I have a abundance of knowledge about the Egyptians as well as the Greeks.Thank Uncle Rick.Ciao!
- Amazing5By NeptohRick Riordan is awesome, keep up the great work man! :)
- Rick Riordan has done it again!4By ocean girl 15This books series is as great as his Percy Jackson books, except it has the Egyptian gods instead of the Greeks. Carter Kane, and his British rebel sister Sadie, are kids who got separated from each other after their mom's death. But their life gets turned upside down when Carter and his father visit Sadie, who lives in London with their grandparents. Their father gets kidnapped, and they're taken in by their uncle Amos. Carter and Sadie soon discover that the are descended from the pharohs. And not only that, but they're also hosting the gods Horus and Isis, and soon find themselves in a conflict that could end the world! I highly recommend it for fans of Percy Jackson, or like action, adventure, and mythology. Rick Riordan is truly a genius.
