I really liked the first and third graphic novels. But what happened to the second one? The only way I found the second one was on the British iTunes Store and I don’t have access to buy it. Please bring back the second graphic novel.

I am a devoted fan of the original series. I enjoyed the good illustrations but would not consider this a book to stand alone, because so many details are missing and the plot deviates so much from the original novel. While I would recommend this to people who have read the novel, I am not so sure it is worth the ten dollars. One thing I did enjoy about this book were the subtle references to Percy Jackson in the illustrations like Sadie's camp Half-blood tee and the "heroes of Olympus" banners. I did however have a small problem with the female characters. Maybe this is just me, but Sadie and Ruby seem a little more scared and fragile than in the novel and Zia's one main action scene was not there. Bast was well represented, but her face seemed a little young and sad to me. Overall I would recommend this to fans of the novel, but do not expect it to match perfectly, this is a graphic novel.

Both book are good but the graphic novel helps you see what is happening and that is why I like it better 😃
