I struggled to get into this because of the turmoil and disconnection from and with the main characters to each other.

This was an enjoyable read. The ending was a little ragged, with some loose ends as often happens with books that are part of a sequential series. You have to read the next book to connect the dots. I’m not fond of that. After two days of reading I expect a satisfying ending with all issues nailed down. Still, I enjoyed the story and enough issues were resolved to make it satisfying. The remaining issues I was able to pretty much figure out. — di pinto
