I think this novel shows more of the depth of characters that Ms. Roberts has created than any other book she has written to date. The ability of Eve and Roarke to blend their lives when they come at it from such opposing sides is interesting and, despite being fiction, just goes to show that anything worth having is hard work! The stand-up lieutenant and the reformed criminal make a great team. seeing how Ms. Roberts can blend them in to one minds at times is entertaining and educational. I know that at some point this series will end, but I hope we get to see Eve run through a few more of life's little gems first. Marrying a billionaire and continuing to do work that is vital to who she is......I hope this is just the beginning of seeing her experience all life has to offer. Ms. Roberts, if you ever read your fans reviews, I'd like to say that no other author has caught my attention and focused it as you have. You have a gift from God that you have passed on to so many with your words.Creation in Death
5By Chaosmage424I'm reading the series in order so I can't speak for every book, but this is absolutely my favorite Eve Dallas book so far. I love the series as a whole but there was something about this one that really got me. It had some excitement, kept the brain thinking and as always made me feel a part of the team trying to find the bad guy. I really loved how Roarke really learned an appreciation for cops in general, not just his cop and her friends. Great and fast read.
