5By cherylworthI have read all of books in this series.I look forward to each one.Bought them in hard cover for years,have switched to e-books on my IPad,I have collected to many paperbacks and hard covers, reading from IPad is much better.I started reading the Eve Dallas series in 2000 I think.I was looking for a good book to read on weekend,I looked at one and became curious because I’m from Dallas, born and raised here.I read it in one night and knew I had to find first one written and get back story.Every book is just a little better than the last.Hard to wait another 6 or so months for next one.Lame

5By Free recyclerNora/JD you NEVER disappoint! This one was an exception in the the even more fully developed characters. You asked your reader to really pay attention. Knowing Dallas, one always had the feeling she could easily go back to someone earlier in her investigation. That required even more than my usual immersion! Loved seeing more original members of her team's progression and involvement. Excellent story! Conclusion slowly builds but without certainty! Loved the minute changes you are allowing us to see in Dallas (i.e. The makeup) you have a perfect lead in to something in mcNab's future. Will he be ok? Please don't stop writing "our cop!" Both Roarke and Dallas are maturing in their relationship, which fits the progression of the series. Recommend.I

5By SuSu-AshevilleJD Robb does it again with another great book. I am an avid reader of her IN DEATH series. It's difficult to choose her best; however, this is high on my list. Suggest you at least read a couple of her earlier books to get a flavor for who's who regarding the characters. You could probably read it as a stand-alone; however, it has a greater impact if you understand the characters in more depth. Enjoy!Fantastic!
