Description
In the new novel in the #1 New York Times-bestselling series, Lt. Eve Dallas is about to walk into the shadows of her husband’s dangerous past…
While Eve examines a fresh body in Washington Square Park, her husband, Roarke, spots a man among the onlookers he’s known since his younger days on the streets of Dublin. A man who claims to be his half brother. A man who kills for a living—and who burns with hatred for him.
Eve is quick to suspect that the victim’s spouse—resentful over his wife’s affair and poised to inherit her fortune—would have happily paid an assassin to do his dirty work. Roarke is just as quick to warn her that if Lorcan Cobbe is the hitman, she needs to be careful. Law enforcement agencies worldwide have pursued this cold-hearted killer for years, to no avail. And his lazy smirk when he looked Roarke’s way indicates that he will target anyone who matters to Roarke…and is confident he’ll get away with it.
Eve is desperate to protect Roarke. Roarke is desperate to protect Eve. And together, they’re determined to find Cobbe before he finds them—even if it takes them across the Atlantic, far outside Eve’s usual jurisdiction…

- Engaging5By roxann2072I felt pulled into the story- the fly on the wall view. I couldn’t put the book down. And I can’t wait to read the next one.

- Epic.5By Heatherelf77The series could end there and it would be a fitting end. But I have to say, I hope it continues on forever.
- An excellent read5By thea826The theme of family in his book is so strong. The victim's family, the police family, Roake's family - it spoke to me.

- Nada1By Ms. LarsonNothing there....
- Boring1By HeelermomVery repetitive books, no hook here
- Good read!5By BeccaDove7The cat horror was not as bad as previous commenting!!! This was a really good Dallas book, added to the story and filled in gaps in their past. I enjoyed it!
- Don’t Mess with Eve and Roarke5By LakewacoA thriller that starts in New York and ends across The Pond. A combo of a little sex, a lot of murder, and a little humor thrown in to make it interesting. Robb’s books are always good reads and you can’t beat the combo of Eve and billionaire Roarke.
- Not for me1By Drake1034A bit too fantastical and predictable and yet all over the place. It was also a bit difficult to follow the character dialogue but I’m also a lazy American. I read about 1/3 and couldn’t finish it, which is very rare for me as I loathe leaving a book unfinished. I’ve only left 3 other books out of hundreds unread. Perhaps I’ll pick it up again one day, but for now I’ll find entertainment elsewhere.
- Shadows In Death1By GatosGaloreI have enjoyed Eve Dallas novels BUT.... this book is not for anyone that is a cat person. I tried to read thru the constant reminder of the horror done to this cat but the author used this continually. An innocent animal’s death is not reading material. Wasted money & time.. never buy her again.
