Couldn’t put the book down. Read it in two sittings. I love this series.

The entire storyline and cast of characters is one for the ages. Super job!

This was an eye-opener. Nasty business that Eve, as usual, got to the bottom of, with her crew and, of course, Roarke. Really like how the nasty is offset by good people helping where they can.

If you are into sex slaves and interested in pedophilia, then this book is a good read for you. I could hardly get through it. Increasingly her books dwell on the darkest of human behaviors. I’ve read all her books so far. I think this will be my last. I’m sorry that one of my favorite authors has now been deleted from my must rad list.

All the familiar characters and some forward progress. Someone is up for a promotion. Someone might be getting a love interest. Dennis Mira is is his wonderful self and Dallas gets the job done. It took me several days to read the book which is not normal for a Robb. It was a bit dry and shallow in spots.

I tried really hard to not read this too fast, but I finished it in a few hours. Riveting. Both heartwarming & heartbreaking. Everything I could ask for packed into one book - I love it when the good guys win! JD Robb books are golden!!

I am a huge fan of J.D. Robb/Nora Roberts and she did it again with this one. It hit all the right notes. I had such a hard time putting it down. This book had sobbing at parts. It’s so easy to get emotionally involved with these characters. Thank you Ms. Roberts for being such a wonderful storyteller!!
