The Blue Bistro
By Elin Hilderbrand
Elin Hilderbrand, author of the enchanting Summer People and The Beach Club, invites you to experience the perfect getaway with her sparkling new novel.
Adrienne Dealey has spent the past six years working for hotels in exotic resort towns. This summer she has decided to make Nantucket home. Left flat broke by her ex-boyfriend, she is desperate to earn some fast money. When the desirable Thatcher Smith, owner of Nantucket's hottest restaurant, is the only one to offer her a job, she wonders if she can get by with no restaurant experience. Thatcher gives Adrienne a crash course in the business...and they share an instant attraction. But there is a mystery about their situation: what is it about Fiona, the Blue Bistro's chef, that captures Thatcher's attention again and again? And why does such a successful restaurant seem to be in its final season before closing its doors for good? Despite her uncertainty, Adrienne must decide whether to open her heart for the first time, or move on, as she always does.
Infused with intimate Nantucket detail and filled with the warmth of passion and the breeze of doubt, The Blue Bistro is perfect summer reading.
Meh2By Martagirl39I didn't care about the characters. Maybe there were so many that it was difficult to get attached.
Good beach read5By Stephanie StaffordAmazing book to pass the time in the sand and sun! My first Hilderbrand book and I was impressed!
Loved it4By Keghop30I thought this was a great read. If you have ever worked as a waitress you will be able to relate in so many ways. Good story.
Fantastic5By CatpierThis book was so well written. Once again I was transported to Nantucket. Read in 2 days.
Love. Love. Love5By Mander PandersI simply love this book! The imagery is amazing! The feel for the characters is pristinely described. This is one of those books you would enjoy reading sitting on your front porch with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning, listening to the petite morning sounds outside. I love reading books about romance and characters trying to run a business. What a wonderful composition!

Sucked me in4By mrs329This was my third of her books. Loved Barefoot, did not like The Affair...LOVED The Blue Bistro! I felt attached to the characters, I felt like I was in Nantucket, and I found myself wanting to go there to find this gem of a restaurant. Great summer read!
Touchy!4By Gaviotadelmar32There's a lot in this book. A lot of emotions, food and so on. Intensity and drama. Give it a try and you'll see.
