Reviews
A fun psychological thriller
3By Lore PalliRead it in one night. Enjoyed it until the end, there were a lot of flaws in the writing, confusing plot twists and too much going on. But overall a good read.Don’t bother
1By Wizzie11Bad writing and silly plotting.Gone before goodbye
3By GWYNEDD READERSomewhat far fetched, however readable. They should have let AI write it
1By storeagbgeThis book is unbelievably terrible. The story doesn’t make any sense, it repeats itself through different locations without advancing a bit….. there are about 5 cliches per page, and they’re also repeated throughout the book…….but the worst part of it is the writing. A 5th grader not cheating with AI would write a better prose. They should have let AI write it.Frannie
5By Over ageI could not put it down. Keep me up a few nightsFar fetched
1By Sally VVSuch a bizarre story with few redeeming characters. Disappointing all the way around.Wow!
5By 10OMB13I’ve read all of HC’s books and initially passed on this one that was co-authored by RW as I thought that it wouldn’t meet his normally high standards. WOW…was I wrong. This is a fabulous page turner that’s as good as EVER! Bravo.Gone Before Goodbye
3By ArtymusicianI enjoyed reading this book, but was really surprised by the ending. I got a real glimpse of AI potential for good and evil in this book, as well as human potential for greed, vengeance, and immorality. What a shock. It seemed unrealistic and more like science fiction in some parts - but as technology keeps advancing at quantum leaps, I guess anything is possible). Sadly, human potential for evil and cruelty is unlimited. The characters turned out to be very disappointing. The portraits of war zones, Dubai, and even Bordeaux were dark and ugly. I still want to visit Bordeaux, though, as the countryside is beautiful and untarnished by this ridiculous portrayal. Just silly.A great read
4By From the ShoreLiked it a lot, the build up was great, couldn’t put it down. However, the conclusion was disappointing. I read it in a couple of days, worth it!To ok a While
3By jj's wayIt took a while to get going. Not sure I would recommend it. More like question, what did you think?Gone…
4By mary nickelsmithLoved this book. Until the end. Too much of a rapid wrap up with no logic.Outstanding!
5By Stephanie'sBest I’ve read in years!!!Disappointing
2By JasmineBSOIt’s an interesting idea, but the writing was average and so choppy that it actually interrupted me every time I got involved. The characters didn’t seem real and the ending was bizarre. All of a sudden, Maggie has a gun? Her father-in-law has a gun? How many people are willing to commit murder? For me, there are many better books to read.I was surprised
5By AllyDennyI have long loved Harlan Coben, but this is even better than his best. Lots of twists and turns; couldn’t put it down. 100% worth the price.
