5By meschwennThis is a general review for the series thus far. First timer. Now let me start off by saying it took me a LONG time to even think about reading this series. I don’t know if it was the hype or popularity but I didn’t believe it could be THAT good. Boy was I wrong. My god. I haven’t even finished book 3 and I just had to say something. Books have never made me feel like I’m friends with the characters. You kinda always feel like an outsider peeking in through a window. I don’t know what dark magic Sarah has but her words are magic and these characters feel like my friends, like home. Like I’d go to war for them. This doesn’t mean a lot to y’all, but to those who know me, know that I am not a crier and… I sobbed through the book. SOBBED. If you’ve ever even LOOKED at these books. Do it. Buy it. Read it and let your life be changed.Brilliant

War, further world building, relationships, romance, character progression; it was all balanced perfectly. The stakes felt real, and everything from the last books came together beautiful.Thrilling.
