Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.
At least, he's not a beast all the time.
As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.
From bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking book that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable read.

5By skkjjjudiiidhhbSuch a great book! Loved the characters so much!Long, unbelievable
2By kellsiecjNone of the actions of the protagonist made any sense to me. This was a dragging read full of eye rolls… you need to give up control and say “sureee anyone would react that way… this all makes total sense” Towards the end it gets kind of interesting. I only pushed through because I’ve been told the series “gets better” Here’s hoping. All around excellent Fantasy
5By Sam 1221Better written than most romance novels - could have more erotica but very good read.Girl who loves to read
5By dlpenniEnjoyable read. Funny character developed well in the storyMid
2By kezloves2readOk enough that I finished it bc I love reading sm that I need to read something. The characters and story was mid. I wasn’t convinced of anything, I was not sold on the world. I would’ve really liked this in middle school though. Unfortunate because there was so much hype but now I’m just convinced that many people haven’t really read an extraordinary fantasy book.Unexpectedly loved this book!

1By KnightPandiThe main character is not very charming, there were spelling mistakes, and at some point I wanted to read it just to see if it got better. It did not. I acknowledge that this is my own view on it, a ton of my friends genuinely loved it.AMAZING!!
5By 1211-chayayanningtonThis book is soooo good!! Great plot! I love how its set up. At first I thought it was pretty predictable, but then it took a turn!! It is so amazing how Sara can write. The only thing bad about it is the language. Everything else was great! I highly recomend!! Cant wait to read the next one! 12/10!!Amazing read!!

5By ChelsheyhiDark, tense, and way more layered than I expected. At first the writing is a bit awkward, but just let it go because the story telling is incredible! Perfect mix of slow burn to story arc. You can really picture every scene so easily. And the books just get better and better!
