Re-read the original book RIGHT AFTER reading this book!
The original book suddenly became much richer and more enticing after I finished this Behind the Story, I HAD to open up the original book once more! What a way to increase the reading experience! Highly recommended!

The Son of Neptune is part of the second cycle of the Percy Jackson stories, where it is compulsory called as The Heroes of Olympus. Unknown to some of readers is its beginning. Telling his son Haley some bedtime stories about the Greek gods and goddesses led him to the conception of Percy Jackson. As a father who wanted his son to keep interested in education, Rick Riordan told him his own story of a 12-year-old boy who iss the son of a Greek god, and the quest to recover Zeus’ lightning bolt in the modern day world. He has dyslexia and ADHD like Haley. It took three nights to tell the whole adventure, where Haley concluded that his father must write it as a book. Riordan thought about his son’s idea. Since Haley has dyslexia and ADHD, the request won over. As a teacher, he wanted kids to enjoy history and he made mythology a favorite in school.
