SAMPLE EXCERPT:
“What was the response from the public?”

Two things capture the attention of the readers of Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter and make its readers never want to put the book down until the very end: the rich description of the setting and the characters.
The setting that Tom Franklin chose for Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter is the small town of Chabot, Mississippi. Having been born and raised in a Southern country, Franklin is able to give a rich description of the South. He was also able to talk about the complexities of developing friendship in a small town. In this story, readers will experience how fast news or gossip travels in a small town. Readers will also realize that everyone in a small town knows one another, from the children of the baker to the past girlfriends of the constable. Readers will experience drive-in theaters and cafés where everyone converges during weekends or simply for their daily cup of coffee. For those who come from small towns, Franklin will make you crave for more of that small town allure…
