After reading the entire catalog up to and including 2025, Lucas becomes a lot more likable as the series progresses.

Shadow Prey had its exciting moments (amazing hook that’s why I read), but I found myself skimming because I was bored. Could get confusing with all the character names. Only a few were developed enough to remember who they are. I found myself going back constantly like “who is that and what do they do, again?” Overall a solid “Eeh”

Didn’t like the infidelity. I thought Lucas had more class/integrity than that.

Struggled to finish. Didn’t flow well.

This was better than the last book. Kept me riveted to the end.

This book is not anywhere near as good as Rules of Prey, I enjoyed the first book, I won’t waste any more time on this series.
