Description
A NEW YORK TIMES BESTELLER
Lucas Davenport must track down a ruthless Russian hit team, in this latest thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author John Sandford.
Leonard Summers—not his real name—is on the run. A former high-ranking Russian intelligence officer who defected to the U.S. after providing critical information about Russian spies in U.S. government service, Leonard, his wife Martha, and son Bernard have spent the past year holed up in a CIA facility near Washington. After the CIA makes a deal with the U.S. Marshal Service’s Witness Protection Program (WPP), Leonard’s family is transported to Minneapolis. The plan is to hide them in a wooded Minneapolis suburb that resembles their former home and dacha near Moscow.
The Summers are received at their destination by Lucas Davenport and fellow marshal Shelly White. Unbeknownst to them, the WPP group has been tracked by a Russian hit team. And while nobody in the WPP has ever been attacked…Leonard might be the first victim. As shots are fired and enemies dodged, Lucas must move quickly to uncover where the leak is coming from, before the hit team can strike again.

5By RBM in WDCThis is another GREAT Prey series story. And dozens of books in, Sandford is still delivering the goods. I only wish it had been longer — so I’d still have more to read!Great story.Well told.

4By FakeApp300This I thought was one of the better Prey novels. The question I have and am not able to find is on Gabrielle. I know she’s Lucas‘s biological daughter, but from who and when. I know Letty, the other daughter he has with the news reporter, and Sam. But for all the research and AI searching I cannot find when Gabrielle came to be?!?! It seems like in every prey book that she’s mentioned, she’s playing the cello and talking to friends on the phone. Please help solve this origin mysteryNO JOY!
2By StreamlinerFanI have read every Lucas, Virgil & Letty book several times and I am sorry to say that Revenge Prey is not one of the better ones. It’s pretty much a snoozer with little to no excitement. Come on Mr. Sandford, you can do SO much better than this.Another home run
5By bu stuEvery book in this series is fantastic, and this one is no exception. The characters are always so interesting .Revenge BS
2By Bob852201Not even close to my expectations. Hurried ending. Sandford has slipped and I’ve read all his books. Prepared to be disappointed!!Another good one
4By 58spdstrGets you up and running quickly. Kept the pace up until the finale in my opinion which slowed down and got a little convoluted.Another slam dunk!
5By 1fencemanFantastic page turning tale, kept me engrossed and entertained. Sandford is a great author for keeping you wanting more.Revenge Prey
1By MAM MPLSI’ve read all John Sanford novels. Generally I like Davenport. Flowers less. Letty great. This book was boring. No action. No plot. Simple minded.Revenge Prey
3By MeechemillIt was a great book until the ending. I did not like the ending at all. It made no sense.!Davenport
5By TerrrrrrrriyaaaaaaaakiiiiiiAnother stellar story by Mr. Sanford. I’m usually yearning for his novels to be longer. Great story, excellent characters. He’s got a way with making characters feel real. Traceable across habits and behaviors. Read it!
