Field of Prey
By John Sandford
#1 New York Times bestselling author John Sandford continues his phenomenal Prey series—and “for those who think they know everything they need to know about Lucas Davenport, [Field of Prey] proves them wrong…” (Huffington Post)
On the night of the fifth of July, in Red Wing, Minnesota, a boy smelled death in a cornfield off an abandoned farm. When the county deputy took a look, he found a body stuffed in a cistern. Then another. And another. By the time Lucas Davenport was called in, it was fifteen and counting, the victims killed over just as many summers, regular as clockwork.
How could this happen in a town so small without anyone noticing? And with the latest victim only two weeks dead, Davenport knows the killer is still at work, still close by. Most likely someone the folks of Red Wing see every day. Won’t they be surprised.
Nice Read5By BalajifactAmazing book from John Sandford, it was written in such away that you would never get bored and will be eager to finish the book in one single Go!! Can't wait to read the latest one though.

Fields of Prey5By SSPJ24No doubt, best of the Prey series. Hooks you from the beginning compelling characters and well written.
Field of Prey5By Annoyed GrammaI've read every book Sandford/Camp has written and think this is one of his best! Love that he caught us up on several pheripheral characters we've missed (Sister Mary Joseph, Letty, Del...) and as always the plot kept me engaged from the first sentence to the last. Do yourself a favor and get this book, and then go read all the others too. My favorite author, period.
It felt like ...2By Dinjadai... reading your seventh Alex Cross novel where you just want to get to the twist, only to realize the twist and motives are stupid and entirely unexplained, right before the whole thing peters out in some contrived crescendo. Honestly go read Kiss the Girls, one of Patterson's better entries and a far better version of this tired tale.
Lucas Davenport does it again.5By wv terryAnother "prey" book by John Sanford doesn't disappoint. Evil killer fast pasted excitement.
Excellent5By 4ahExcellent, excellent, excellent can only give this thumbs up and hoping there is another Prey on the way.
